Asgard Journal

Saharah:  Harmony is Peace.  Peace is Unity.  I tell this to the King Nook.  He ask me to leave.

May have been Saturday 29 June: First Timpanoid today.  First Pitfall Seed today.  Tortimer arrived today.

Wednesday, 3 July:  My second journey to the Island but today i caught Napoleonfish and Blue Marlin, both of which are worth 10,000 Bells each.

I paid off my home loan of 96,000 Bells today and ordered the next upgrade.   I now will owe 198,000 Bells to the crafty Tanuki, Tom Nook.

Thursday, 4 July:  A week precisely after I moved to Asgard, Redd appeared in his green tent in the Plaza for the first time and I finally found Cyrus, Reese's sweetheart and partner awake.  Cyrus and Reese were deep in conversation.

Cyrus introduced himself and then said:  I like messing with old furniture and refurbishing it to turn it into something new and interesting.

Reese added that he 'can chnge the paint, redo the upholstery...

The first 'Lost Item' appeared today on the Map.  It looks like a blue mitten.  I have to ask Villagers if they lost it...  so far, no joy.

I spoke to Lyle again today.  It's actually the 'Happy Home Academy' now.

Lyle:  Your home.  Nice balance.  No overuse of space.  Everything in its place.  Simple.  Understated.  Not flashy.  Everything carefully selected and positioned.  You're a thinker.  Bang!

Now, let's talk specifics.  Specific comments.  From my crew.  About your home.  First...  Your Triple Bananas!  Nice placement.  Very important.  Only as good as where you put it.=!  Let's talk 'they'.  They say putting yellow to the west is good.  Good for business.  Brings in the Bells.  So. Yellow.  Put your yellow items to the wet.  My crew loves that kind of stuff.  Nice touch.  Bang.  Let's ee...  That's about it!  Almost.  Little advice for the future.  Here we go.  Bang.

Let's talk themes.  Evr think about themese?  You should think about themes.  Uniformity.  Congruity.  Harmony.  Matchiness.  Bang.  Good things.  Change your score.  Change your life!  My crew?  They love interior-design themes.  Formally recognise ether of them.  Hold still while I rattle 'em off.  We got Harmonious, Rustic, Antique, Trendy, Fairy Tale, Sci-Fi, Quirky, and Toy Shop.  Yep.  Eight.  Bang!  Course, one or two items a theme does not make.  Don't bust Lyle's substantial chops.  Be serious!

By the way... 20,000 to 30,000 points is considered ideal for a house like yours.

The first time I spoke to him I had the first upgrade.  He told me that the placement of the Lantern in the East Corner was perfect, that Red in the east was lucky.  He then spoke of Sets, that there are 11 items in a set and that 15,000 points ideal for a house of THAT size.

Friday, 5 July:

Gulliver was found on the lower beach this morning.  He asked me questions about his destination, said it was a place where elephants were being preserved (like Jam!) and a place where they made a delicious soup.  I recognised the name of the soup so I chose Thailand correctly.

I caught a hammerhead shark on the Island this evening.  So many valuable fish being caught and I've been in Asgard less than a fortnight!  I was able to pay off the fountain.

Saturday, 6 July:

Phineas in town today, gave me a badge for Insect Catching akin to the one earned for Fish:  Insect Maniac, I believe.

Meanwhile, Nook's nephew announced that the shop would be shut the next day for renovations.  Although he said they were holding a special pre-renovation sale, NOTHING was on sale!  Actually, I must correct myself here.  Notepaper was 80 Bells instead of 160 Bells, so it is quite possible everhthing was half-price.

I ordered some changes to the exterior of my house although I regretted it instantly.  I rather liked the Fairytale motif, now changed to Mermaid stuff.

I spoke to Lyle and discovered my points had increased by a mere 2,000 since last week.  He gave me a little more detail about the bonus points:

Lyle:  Let's talk necessities.  Necessary furniture.  Five pieces.  Beds. Tables.  Chairs.  Warrobes.  dressers.  In the industry, we call 'em the 5 essentials.  Items ever home should have.  My crew looks for 'em.  (Crew looks for them and you get bonus points)

Meanwhile, I have some questions for myself.  First of all, when the catalogue does appear, will exteriors that I have purchased in the past be available for custom order?

My first purchase from Redd was a counterfeit but I like it and I like having it on display in my home.

Gulliver today sent me the prize owed for letting him know his destination was Thailand.  When he said a form of transport in the letter, I hoped it would be a pretty rickshaw but it's an ugly jalopy.  Too awful to display although I shall keep it.

When I sat in the Mayor's chair today, Isabella said the villagers had prepared a celebration for the fountain completion.  We automatically went to the site and every one cheered, then used poppers.  End of story.

When I spoke to her again about the town and satisfaction, she gave me the same old message about it being underdeveloped!

The Retail Shop is paying extra for Coconuts today.  Sadly, my trees still are stunted and not quite adults.  I do not understand why I cannot grow Durian trees.  Another question:  when you buy a 'Happy Sapling', it is always native fruit or can it be a fruit you do not have?  Will have to test this.

I discovered that one should not press any Buttons when Kapp'n is sailing or singing.  He becomes quite cross, accusing one of fiddling with the anchor!

I thought one had to press A to make progress, but evidently it is simply counterproductive.  He was an old lech in the older games.  Still appears to be a little flirtatious but not quite as bold.

Sable is using my name and greeting me now.  She wished she could offer me a cup of tea today.  She spoke of her sister Label, although the one working at the accessories shop is Labelle.

At the Island, they sell plants.  A y-hibiscus start is on sale there today for 5 medals.  Sadly, no Mermaid furniture.  It is a Cabana item.  Never cared for that much.

I hate to say it, but it took me this long to get the hang of diving.  Today I finally was able to capture a number of objects to donate to the Museum.  It was too sad to go there and see all the empty tanks where the diving items were supposed to go.

Sea Anemone: 100 Belles
Spotted Garden Eel: 600 Bells
Sea Grapes: 600 Bells
Sea Star: 100 Bells
Sea Urchin: 800 Bells

I realised a few days ago that I could plunder the Islands for flowers that I did not have or needed, but then all the Butterflies disappeared from the Island.  Today, I replanted flowers and the Butterflies were everywhere again.  I actually caught a new one:
Bird Wing Butterfly: 4,000 Bells

I discovvered a second hybrid on my Village today: an orange Cosmos.  One day after I first was able to buy a Watering Can, I am able to produce Hybrids!  Of course, I spent a lot of time moving and positioning all the flowers that had not died in the interim.

I caught a Dorado tonight at the elbow of the river near the Retail Shop.

Sunday:

My points increased today due to the placement of the Regal Clock.  They say putting yellow to the west is good.  Good for business.  Brings in the Bells.

Monday, 8 July:  New convenience store opening on Main Street today.

Saharah in town!

Well, I was wrong about the Durian Trees.  They are EVERYWHERE.

Harmony is peace.  Peace is unity.  Unity is harmony.  I tell this to the Nook man.  He ask me to leave.

She gave me a sci-fi floor and Parlour Wall.  Such a weird combination.  I love the walls but hate the floor, so off it went and I put back the Wallflower Floor.

More hybrids today. Blue Violets (lovely!) and Orange Lilies.

Found an Orchid Mantis: 2400 Bells.  The first one I found on the Island went to Blathers naturally.

Nookling's Junction has become the T and T Mart.  And FINALLY, after about 10 days of gameplay, there is a slingshot for sale!

Two fortune cookies, three items, one wallpaper, oee wall, three tools and medicine.

There is a catalogue now.  It includes all the items I have had, wallpapers and floors but NO exteriors.

There are six options:  Home, clothing, notepaper, Music, Tools and a Search option.

I think you start the game with 20 Play Coins.  I now have only 12.

Number 20:  Fire Flower
Number 50: Fi Masque

Yesterday, construction began on two buildings.  One was the T & T Market, and the other still is under construction today.

Lyle today:  Dolls!  So many dolls!  Bang!  Pretty impressive.  And your Baby Bear?  Quite a sight!  Really ties the whole collecction together!  My crew?  Loved the dolls.  Loved 'em.  Won't shut up about 'em.  Thanks a lot.  I mean... way to go!

Let's talk sets.  Some items go together in sets.  Could be two items.  Could be more.  Set items?  Usually sold separately.  But they want to be together.  Long to be.  Meant to be.  So get to it!

Most set items?  Reasonably priced.  Give collecting a try!  Ol' Lyle wouldn't steer ya wrong!

I discovered that three Dinosaurs had been completed when I looked at the actual collection.  Blathers did not inform me of the completion of ANY of them.  I realise now that the reason is that I give him multiple items at once as donations.  Unless you give him a single fossil, the actual progress of that dinosaur will not be mentioned.

I do like the new option to give more than one donation at a time and especially to be able to give fossils, insects and fish together.

A couple of small discoveries:

Alfonso asked me to start a 'caution sign' project.  I did so but he never said another word about it.  In other words, there is no reward for taking up a suggestion like that.  I therefore cancelled the ugly thing.  I'd rather create a suspension bridge!

Second:  You can sell two or three items from the Retail Shop Flea Market on any given day.  Whenever a Neighbour enters, speak to him or her and at first there will be no intention of purchasing a specific item.  You actually can PUSH the Animal towards the Item you want him/her to buy.  After a moment or two, the Animal will mention the item and ask your opinion.  Tell him/her to buy.  That's it.  You can do this at least twice in any given day.  I find that furniture sells best.  Ironically, the more expensive items appear to generate more sales than the cheap tools or outfits.

Twice now, an Animal has complained that a Fishing Rod placed in the Flea Market for 500 Bells is too expensive and yet, when I place furniture at its regular Nook price, it will be purchased without any hesitation.  Strange!

When diving, there is a time limit for the dark shadows that appear at the bottom of the sea.  Swim as close to them as possible using the A Button before pressing Y to dive.  You will move more slowly underwater and some of the creatures, like the Octopus, can outrun you easily.

The Jellyfish sting but it is not like a Bee Sting that creates a mess of your face.  You simply lose time and stand like an idiot, reeling visibly from the blow until you recover.

I enacted the Beautiful Town Ordinance today for 20,000 Bells. It will go into effect tomorrow.  I left a few Cherries on the ground to see if Fruit would be affected.

I think i may have seen a Tarantula out of the corner of my eye.  Huge black thing that scared me and plopped loudly into the water before I could slow down.  I have gone in and out of buildings now a dozen times, trying to bring it back, but to no avail!

The Mermaid Table was on display at the Island today.  All the furniture appears to cost 40 Medals.  I'm down to zero again.

Tuesday, 9 July:

A shoe shop has opened on Main Street, Isabelle announces.  Then, as soon as I open my door, Shrunk appears on the scene.  He needs 6 signatures from residents to open his Club LOL.

Got a letter from the HHA.  Have exceeded 10,000 points so they have sent a gift.  It s a silly tee shirt!

Number 15 Fortune Cookie: a yellow Pikmin
Number 2:  a block floor

The shop had a Party Wall for sale.  I did not recall this pretty wall from other versions of the game.

I thought the Beautiful Ordinance was supposed to go into effect this morning, but I found a weed.  Onto the City Hall to grill Isabelle about it.

There is a notice on the board about it, but a flower is withered as well!  What is the bloody point???

I started a project to build another bridge.  It's one that makes sense, unlike the Caution sign.

A shoe shop, eh?  Sigh... would rather have had something more important at this stage.

My HHA score today was 12, 325 points.
Your Gaudi's Lizard?  Worth big points.  My crew?  They love stumbling upon valuable pieces.  Let's see: Gaudi's Lizard.  Wort 1, 051 point!  That's a lot!  You're really impressing ol' Lyle!

So.  Your Baby Panda.  Let's talk points.  Not worth much.  Boom.  However...  Did cause a stir.  My crew?  Still scratching their heads.  Wondering what makes you tick...

Themes;  Harmonious, Rstic, Antique, Trendy, Fairy Tale, Sci-Fi, Quirky, and Toy Shop.  Eight.  Bang!

On the Island, there were many new mini-games available.

Onto the City Hall to grill Isabelle about it.

There is a notice on the board about it, but a flower is withered as well!  What is the bloody point???

I started a project to build another bridge.  It's one that makes sense, unlike the Caution sign.

Suddenly, there are three times the number of tours as there were previously.

Market Price Bug Tour
Easy Item Matching Tour
Official Item Matching Tour
Amateurs' Free Diving Tour
Shellfish Free for All Tour
Seafood Free Diving Tour
Easy Scavenger Tour
Official Scavenger Tour

Meanwhile, the Mermaid Sofa was on sale for 40 Medals AND there was a Green Wet Suit on sale for 40 Medals.  I played the Scavenger Mini-Game until I had won enough for both.  I daresay this means I can dive at home now.

Wednesday, 10 July:  Phineas in town again.  Why???  Anyway, he gave me  'Village Representative Badge' for playing frequently.

There were only three items in the Retail because I sold them all. but I pushed the Frog towards the Potbelly Stove until he purchased it.  Interesting... every one says the same thing about the Fishing Rod,  something to the effect that it costs too much, but then they ALL buy something more expensive.

Number 14 is Blue Pikmin
Number 7 is Peache's Parasol

I changed the Party Wall to the Regal Wall even though I think the former looked better... should be worth more HHA points as I am collecting Regal stuff.

Sable becomes more and more informative.  Of course, their sister Labelle used to work for Gracie, but now the Gracie label belongs to the Able Sisters.

Sable:  Oh, that's right.  Did you notice that big sewing machine over there?  I've been using this machine of mine for quite a while now, so it acts up from time to time...  My sisters just couldn't stand it anymore, so they got me that nice, new one as a present.

Mabel:  It's true, we did!  But listen to this, Eugenia!  Sis says she can't figure out how to use the machine, so it's just been sitting there unused.  This machine uses the Nintendo 3DS camera to read th QC Code of custom designs.  You can also create a QR Code for designs you've created.  It's an amazig machine specially made for professionals, but it just sits there collecting dust!  I'm not sure if we've given her a sewing machine or a paperweight in the shape of a sewing machine!

Sable:  But... but, Mabel...  I'd hate to see this machine you two gave me break down because I tried to use it without knowing how...  Plus, I've never really used a sweing machine that big before, so I'm a little afraid to touch it...  Hmmmm...  Oh, I've got it!  Eugenia, you look ike you'd be handy with a machine like that...  Why don't you get some use out of it in my stead?  I'm sure I could learn how to use it if I watched you try it out first.  I don't mind you using it as long as I'm not busy with other things.  If you'd like to give it a try, just let me know.

My question here:  Would the dialogue have been the same had I not befriended Sable every day???

Tommy:  OUr shop does not offer a point system, so we ask for your understanding!  We do!

This is a reference to the old AC games where players received rewards as the number of points they obtained from purchases increased.  I just remembered that!

Willow's house has a harp and a phonograph of some sort playing K.K. Etude.  I wonder when K.K. will appear...  She has the Regal Bed I need!  Need to ply her with furniture then.  Gorgeous floor as well.

As I surmised, the wet suit allows me to dive freely at my home.  What I did not think about was the fact that I now have an underwater shortcut from one beach to the other!  Super!

Blathers for duplicate fossils:  Well, well... All of thee are simply quite splendid!  In fact, our museum already has these fossils on display!  If only I had the funds, I'd buy them for my own personal collection...  I suppose some dreams aren't meant to come true every day.

Willow:  If you came in here to sell something, I hope it doesn't have sentimental value.  It's ade to tink about other people trading in their memories for a few Bells.

Lyle today:  Colour can be huge.  For example.  All furniture in a room?  Same colour?  Makes quite an impression.  Matching.  Matching's good.  But mix it up too!  Can't just have five yellow tables and expect a bonus!  Best thing about a colour bonus?  No need to spend a lot.  Cheap way to get points!  Give it a try!

New option today with Lyle to ask 'What's new?'

He said I obviously was close to the Able Sisters and that Nook was as well.  They all were invited for a 'sit-down' where they were served some fried ice cream.

Tom Nook:  Mr. Lyle!  We had some delicious fried ice cream!  It's a tasty, popular and innocent dessert!

Lyle:  Ho ho ho!  Mr. Nook!  I do believe you're blushing!

Score today: 13, 127

It's a red letter day.  I paid off my home loan.

Tom Nook:  Well, listen, Eugenia, I believe your home would be oh so cozy if it had a second floor.  A smallish loan of 298,000 Bells would be required of course.  Hm?

Let's do it!

Excellent!  I will put your order in right away, hum?

This is VERY interesting.  I went diving in the waters of Asgard and found a Scallop.  Guess what happened then?  Pascal popped up behind me for a second, then reappeared to say:

Pascal:  Hey, maaannnnn, ho'w about you gimme that scallop you caught?

My choices:

Um, here you go.
Scram, ya moocher!

Pascal:  Thanks, man.  I left you something cool in exchange.

He gave me an anchor.

It was after 8.00 p.m. when he appeared.  I never knew him to be in my village at night in the old days.

I found a Seaweed and then another Scallop.  This time, Pascal did not appear...

Seaweed: 200 Bells
Scallop: 1000 Bells

I caught an Arapaima near the Retail Shop.  Worth 10,000 Bells, it appears to hang out there at night.
Fatter than a Bass and bigger.

Thursday:

Number 28: Bill Blaster

When I spoke to Sable she gave me a gift!  This is one of the mannequins used to display things in our store, but... since we have extra, maybe you'd like to take one home?  With a mannequin, you can put both clothing and accessories on it to make a full outfit.  You can even use it to quickly change your clothes.  However, since it's very valuable, I hope you won't try giving it away to other people or something.  I feel like you share our interest in fashion, Eugenia, so I thought you might like something like this...  Please take it home and give it a try when you have a spare minute!

Blathers suggests that the museum be remodeled.  A second floor...

My own home:

Lyle:  The Happy Home Academy has a nem for your style.  Snappy Style.  Very nice. Very fun.  Very bang!   Seems fir for folks who like to switch things up.  Drop of a hat.  Chang-a-roo.  Whatever grabs ya.

Your mega squelchoid.  Got a nice feel to it.  Worth some points.  A collector's place for sure.  Seasonal, maybe?  Had to hunt for it?  Not found in stores, perhaps?  Ol' Lyle knows.  These things have their own stories.  So they tend to be worth some nice points!

Gaudi's Lizard.  Worth 1,051 points!  That's a lot!

You know about happy items, right?  New policy of HRA.  Good stuff.  We value nostalgia.  Feel-good items.  Seasonal stuff. Stuff that makes us smile.  Right?  Right.  Bang.  Examples.  Seasonal furniture.  Seasonal ingredients.  Fish.  Bugs.  Pictures from friends.  et cetera.  Timely items/  Higher value.  New policy.  Everybody's happy.

Friday:

Gulliver on the beach.

Gulliver:  I heard my great-great-great-great-grandseagull Gulliver St. Gullivive explored most of the world himself.  And he stopped in this place too, just to give them the idea!

Score today over 18,000.  I put the Balloon stuff on the upper floor.
He talked about the 'Snappy Collection' again.  Then mentioned the lucky black cat.

Lyle:  And your lucky black cat?  Quite a sight!  Really ties the whole collection together!
50,000 considered ideal now.

I found a four-leaf clover finally.

I bought a Happy Sapling, chopped down a cheery tree near the Retail shop and planted it in the place of the old tree... see if it is cherry or random foreign.

Unless I am really slow, one cannot obtain more than eight items from the money rock, the most being 4,000 Bells.

Cally sent me an apple.  I was trying for one of her regal pieces but neither she nor Chops will relinquish any of THOSE.

No hybrids today.

There is a black wet suit at the Island today, much more attractive than my plain green one as it has a gold anchor on the front... but who cares at this point?  would rather earn medals for more Mermaid furniture.  There is no Mermaid furniture today, however.  It is Cabana.

It was worth the 1000 Bells charge though as I caught a Shark.  I had caught the Saw Shark and Whale Shark previously but not a regular Shark.

Phineas is here AGAIN, skulking about at the dead of night.  He gave me a 'Letter Writer' badge.  Well, at least i found out he is not counted as the 'special visitor' for the day as Gulliver came first.

I'd forgotten so much... on the beach at the Island at night, suddenly a shell bounded up off the sand and began to scuttle away.... Hermit Crab of course.  I had the sense of mind to equip my Net to catch it after a brief hesitation.

Today's list of Tours include:

Beetle-hunting Tour
Easy Balloon-Hunt Tour
Official Balloon Hunt Tour
Elite Balloon Hunt Tour
Easy Item-Matching Tour
Official Item Matching Tour

Saturday,
Score today: 19093
Style still Snappy.
Doll!  So many dolls!  Bang!  Pretty impressive!  And your lucky black cat?...etc.
Let's talk furniture.  Furniture that gets you points regardless of the room you're in.  Necessities.  Five types of furniture we all need.  Chairs.  Tables.  Dressers. Wardrobes.  Beds.  Boom.

Does the upstairs count or not???

Finished the second bridge last night.

Isabelle was sleeping on the job.

Visitor earlier who suggested a new project.

Shge wants us to put a Dream Suite on Main Street where you can take naps with vivid dreams!  Cool, huh?  She needs support from the town before it can open, so this is where you'd be a big help.

Dream Suite added to the list.

When I sat down, se mentioned the ceremony for the cobblestone bridge.

Katrina was in the Plaza.  Hate this option.  I love the graphics but it's always misfortune.  Something about 'basic bottoms' which I could not find in the Able Sisters shop of course, but never mind.  Silly fortuneteller!

I've run out of play coins.  i daresay without internet access that is the end of that.

I worked hard to get the medals to buy the Mermaid Dresser on the Island today.

Both Cally and Chops collect regal furniture but I can't get them to give it up by ANY method.

U decided to begin on the Museum Renovation even though I saw an amazing Totem Pole project on the list now...  the totem pole is very expensive and has to wait.  A good mayor must be practical!

19846 this morning.

Monday,

Isabella announced that a live venue had opened, making it possible for K.K. Slider to make an appearance perhaps...  I wasn't able to pry any Regal Furniture out of Cally's hands but she did send me her harpsichord finally.

I think I have a Black Rose this morning.  Need to take a photograph before I pluck it.

The papger tiger was at Nook's.  I think it will add points...  I do believe my points have gone down today unless I misread the score yesterday:  19646

Lyle:  I hear things.  Putting green items to the south?  Very lucky!  Improves your overall luck, they say.  Seems legit.  And my crew loves that kind of stuff.  Big praises for your placement.  Bang!

For the exterior:
Sweets
Mermaid
Fairy Tale
Zen
Simple

Today at the Island, the Sanshin is for sale for 40 Metals.

Tuesday:

Taking out all the balloon stuff from the upper floor reduced my points by 5000.

Today:  Told me the Lily Pad Table was placed perfectly.  Putting green items to the south?  Very lucky!  Improves your overall luck, they say.

Phineas in town:  Seafood Manac Badge

Wednesday:
Found Gulliver on the beach.  The answer to his questions was China.  Can't wait!

Stumps always have been iteresting in AC.  I cut down a Cherry tree and left a stump, discovering I could stand on it or sit on it, but really had done it in order to draw insects to it.

Instead, I got a 'famous mushroom' the next day, worth 16,000 Bells.

Meanwhile, that rather vulgar Cousteau has some amazingly nice stuff in his house, despite the fact that he buys the worst items in the REtail shop.  He has a lot of Asian items.

My style has changed to Compartmental Studio and my points have gone down.  I guess I really should put back the awful Balloon Room.

I guess they still have SOME festivals.

Cally:  This Saturday is the Bug-Off.  I need to start preparing my habitat jars to hold insteresitng species!

I have 40 Medals finally but they only display Cabana stuff...

Thursday:

Received a darling Red=Tasselled Lantern from Gulliver who is in China.  Woot!

Notice on bulletin board today:  On July 19, the T and T Mart will be closed for an important renovation and expansion.  Sorry and thanks.
  Timmy and Tommy

There is some endless renovation or building project going on above the Able Sisters... it has been DAYS and it still continues.

Incidentally, K.K. Slider was there on the same day that his existence was announced by Isabella but he was working as a D.J. at night.  I was forced to dance by Shrunk but no chance to ask for any songs...  think that may occur only on Saturday night as before.

Willow:  Shopping is a legitimate form of stress release.  I even have a doctor's note.  'Buy two pairs of shoes and call me in the morning.'

A LONG conversation with Sable today about how she likes to watch television on Thursday nights after work.  Pointed Love, about Porcupines who break up, get back together, break up again, get back together again.

Sable:  Yesterday, Mabel recorede my favourite soap for me, Pointed Love: 2013...  The two main characters are porcupines who break up, get back together, break up again... You know, the typical soap routine.  I wonder what happened this week... Ah, I can't wait to see what Esther is up to.  She came back in Season 5.

'I also read spoilers in Porcupine TV Weekly about how Reginald will be getting a quill transplant.  Again.'  But really, it's that indecisive heroine who keeps me watching.  Sometimes, I get jealous of her. '

My score today is 13195 now that i removed stuff that was high in points but horrid to me.

Your regal clock!  Nice placement!  Very important.  Only as good as where you put it!  They say putting yellow to the west is good.    Good for business.  Brings in the bells.  So.  Yellow. PPut your yellow items to the west.  My crew loves that stuff.  Nice touch.  Bang.

So is the Regal furniture considered Yellow?  Evdiently!

Stupid Katrina is in the square today.  She definitely jinxed me last week.  I was doing well with my four leaf clover and such until she spoke of gloom and doom. I am cutting her dead now, pretending she isn't there!

Cally made an appointment to visit me.  She said:  'Hmm. I thought something was off.  You're m issing all the basic furniture!'

Indeed, because the only ones I have are the balloon furniture pieces and I'm heartily sick of it!

The Walking Stick is found n the trunk of a tree: 600 Bells.

7.00 p.m. Tarantula circling a cherry tree.  I missed it and it bit me!

Friday, 19 July:

Redd is here in his tent.  Isabella announced a new Beauty Salon on Main Street, above the Able Sisters.

TOMORROW is the Bug Off, not today!  Silly animal...

I got the wrong hairstyle.  Should have made it MORE casual at the start.  Now I have three tails on my head!  Still, got white hair which is fine.  Kind of punk.

Saturday, 20 July:  Cabana stuff back at the island.

So far, I have the record with a Saw Stag: 63 points.  I have a Tiger Butterfly in reverse.

Phineas gave me Backyard Gardener Badge tonight.

Nook has a Supermarket but nothing decent for sale.

I won the Gold Trophy with a Horned Dynastid worth 75 points.  An Agria got seond place.  I'll save the Tiger Butterfly for next month.  It has to be worth more.  Sadly, I destroyed a hybrid pansy walking to the tent in haste.

Today's score: 15848
Mermaid closet.  A collector's piece.  For sure.  Seasonal, perhaps?  Had to hunt for it?  Not found in stores, perhaps?  ... They tend to be worth some nice points.

Your red-tasseled lantern?  Worth big points.  My crew?  They love stumbling upon valuable pieces.  Let's see.  Red-tasseled lantern.  Worth 1,051 points!  That's alot.  You're really impressing ol' Lyle!  Guessing you worked hard for it.  Traveled a ways, maybe?  Had some refurbishing done?  Either way.  Bam!

Let's talk sets.  Some items go together in sets.  Could be two items.  Could be more.  Set items?  Usually sold separately.  But they want to be together.  Long to be.  Meant to be.  So get to it!

There is a gold and white royal mailbox for 3,600 Bells... but it doesnt' match my exterior at present.

THe Silver Slingshot came flying through the air near 7.00 p.m. tonight.   I hope there is more than just balloons carrying Balloon Furniture.  Otherwise, not much point in a better slingshot.  Perhaps there are other options?

I just caught an Emperor Butterfly: 143.  but the Tiger was larger at 151.  Raja Brooke: 176.1

K.K. at 9.30 gave me a recording of his new tune.  I asked for Etude and he played it but did not give that one to me.

Sunday: 16,347 with the trophy on the floor in the centre of the room.

How many pieces in a series?  Eleven.  Usually.  Lots of different item types can be part of a series.  A TV for instance.  One series might have one.  Another might not.  Lamp. Clock. Shelving.  Et. Cetera.

Monday:

Tuesday:  Saharah here today and gave me the worst combination: a Concrete Wall and another Sci-Fi Floor!  What is wrong with her???  None of my furniture has anything to do with either theme or motif!

I caught my first Scorpion tonight.  I was standing rather listlessly outside my home when I spied it directly in front of me, poised to strike!  I positioned myself carefully and slowly and then caught it.

Missed two Tarantulas so far.  Sickening.  They both have appeared between 7.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. as did the Scorpion.

Caught my first Angelfish tonight as well.  Obviously donated both to the Museum although I am desperate to pay off my home loan and expand again.

Today finally found Mermaid furniture in the form of the Vanity at the island so spent all my Medals on that.  Now I have to play those mini-games again and save 40 Medals so I can buy another when it appears.

Wednesday:  Paid off my loan last night but it was too late to order an expansion.  Today, ordered more space o the second floor rather than another room. 498,000

I then cancelled and started over.  My choices for an extra room:

First floor on left
First floor on right
First floor in back
Basement

That actually costs less: 348,000 Bells.
Score today: 17,249

Although I plied her with gift-laden letters in vain, Willow actually SOLD me her beloved Harp today.

Now she is asking for a saddled birchir.

Went to the Island and saw a Mermaid Carpet on sale, but I will buy furniture first.  Won 42 Medals playing the Scavenger Hunt.  Saw that gorgeous Rococco Furniture again.

Redd was in town today.  So far, have purchased two forgeries from him.  Purchased a forgery and a real painting from a Neighbour who bought from him.  That is rather an interesting option.  You can buy only ONE item per visit in this game.

Friday:

Had my Super Mushroom facing a wall evidently.

Lyle:  So... each piece facing a wall?  Becomes a 100 point deduction.  Call it a chops-busting deduction.

He liked my blue-violets. So lush, so green.
20,452

Screen not worth many points but many famous collectors into that sort of thing.

What's new?

Lyle:  The other day?  Me. Him.  Bunch of others.  Had a weed-pulling contest.  Right in the shopping district.  Bang.  Hey, Mr. ook.  Remember Leaf?  That day?  he was amazing.

Nook:  Well... he did go on for four hours.  Leif's passionate spiel sure got every one fired up, though!  He had us pulling weeds until late at night depsite the crazy heat!

Lyle:  Guy's environmentally minded.  No question. Made me feel like I need to pay closer attention to this stuff.

Willow asked me to catch a Napoleonfish for her.  They are worth 10,000 Bells.  With misgivings, I caught the fish and did not sell it at the market.  Cally then asked to have it in exchange for her harpsichord.  Fortunately I have a harpsichord.  I went to Willow and gave her the Napoleonfish.  She gave me her 'pic which is her portrait in return!

Chops accosted me.  He evidently bought ANOTHER Green Chair.  Claims he has to buy one every time he sees one.

Chope:  I didn't mean to buy up every one of these.  Now there won't be any for any one else!

Saturday:

Sable:  So, what kind of clothes do you really like?

Mabel:  It has to be the green-and-white gingham plaid, of course!
Sbale:  Ugh!  Not every one wants the Mabel special, no matter how much you keep trying!

My score today: 27,785

Your home.  Interesting stuff.  Distributed quite evenly.  Points earned everywhere.  Name for style now Standard Style.  Very nice.  Very even.  No surprises.
Your regal clock?  Nice placement.  Very iportant.  Only as good as where you put it.  Yellow to the west, etc.

So green!  So lush!  So many plants!  Quality.  Quantity.  Imprvessive on all counts.  Well done.  Bang.  My crew took special note of your pink roses.  Said it gives the room a nice feel.  They loved your plants.  Can't stop talking about 'em.  Kinda annoying.  But congrats!

At 20,000 by the way, I received an HHA Pennant.  Not certain what it is worth in points, but I stuck it on the wall somewhere I can't see the ugly thing.

Gulliver is here this morning!  Yay!

In this place there were ninjas.  And samurai.  And just os many heroes all over at all times!

Japan of course.

Sunday:
Received a Pagoda from Gulliver.  My points today were over 30,000 and I received an HAA JAcket.

Crew took special notice of my black roses.

Your pachira.  Wow!  Nice placement. Well done.  Putting a thing in the right place.  Big deal!  I hear things.  Putting green items to the south?  Very lucky  Improves your overall luck, they say.
32,188.

Monday:  Saharah in town and really ripped me off today with a stupid Dir-Clod Wall and Modern Floor.  What is she thinking?

Lyle talked about Willow's Pic.  'As long as you stay frineds, it'll get you those bonus points.  Take care of it!  The item and the friendship!
32, 388

Tuesday: 32, 539

Bang!  Your Willow's Pic.  Says a lot about you!  You and Willow.  Seems you're pals.  She stopped by.  Talked up your friendship.  Talekd a lot.  Said the picture means you're buds!

My crew?  They love friendship.  Who doesn't?  Calling your picture a happy item.  Worth bonus points!

Stayed up util 4.00 a.m. trying to find a tarantula.  Did see one, but didn't move on it in time.  It ran into the pond.

Caught a Scarab Beetle, a Giant Stag and an Oak Silk Moth though.

Wednesday:

Got the Good Samaritan Badge.  Wandering about trying in vain to find another Tarantula before the month ended, i discovered the kangaroo was ill and went to her house to deliver medicine.  So that is that.

The furniture sold by Nook and the gifts people give me are AWFUL.  Too much sports equipment by far.

Points the same today as I added nothing new.

Lyle:  Your regal sofa!  Nice placement.  Very important.  Only as good as where you put it!
Then he goes into the yellow to the west thing.  Then again with the Willow's Pic stuff.

I should write down exteriors:

Earthy
Simple
Memaid
Fairy-tale

Found my first Orange Rose today

It is annoying that there is no machine on the Island to see what furniture one actually has.  The Mermaid Vanity is on display but I think I have it.  Have to spend 2000 Bells to find out for certain!

I do have the Vanity, the Screen, the Safa, the Table and the Closet.  Unfortunately, you cannot order duplicates.  You have to collect the Medals all over again and wait until the item appears on display.

At about 8.24 on the last day of July, I finally caught the Tarantula outside the Retail Shop!  Woot!

Worth 8,000 Bells!  Going to Blathers of course.

Willow gave me the Regal Bed... simply sold it to me outside!

Thursday:
Stupid Phineas and Katrina here.  Got some letter=writing badge again.

Score today: 33890

That is because of the Regal Bed I daresay.

Need to find a Giant Stag for Cousteau or the other frog...

I saw shooting stars tonight.  Do not know if Wishy is about but I was able to wish on the star by pressing A.

Shooting stars until almost 4.00 a.m.
I caught an Atlas Beetle, Lantern Fly...

Paid off my debt and ordered another room.  398,000 again.

Friday, 2 August:

Letter from Wishy the Wishing Star with the Arc de Triomphe attached!

Score this morning:  34, 192

Still Standard Style.  Commented about plants, in particular the pink roses.  And then Willow's Pic.

Let's talk themes.  Ever think about themes?  You should think about themes.  Uniformity.  Congruity.  harmony.  Matchiness.  Bang.  Good things.  Change your score.  Change your life!  My crew?  They love interior design themes.  Formally recognise eight of 'em.  Hold still while I rattle 'em off.  We got Harmonious.  Rustic.  Antique.  Trendy.  Fairy Tale.  Sci=Fi.  Quirky and Toy Shop.  Yep.  Eight.  Bang!  Course, one or two items a theme does not make.  Don't bust Lyle's substantial chops.  Be serious!

With the two additional rooms, left and right, I now could order a Castle.  Nook offered the Zen Castle today for 398,000 Bells.  That can wait.  I kind of like my Mermaid theme in any case.

Willow has the Regal Table I need.  She appears to have a temporary love of space stuff, so perhaps I'll ply her with satellites and such until she gets rid of the table... who knows?

Having visited the kangaroo for three nights running to give her Medicine, she reappared outside today and gave me a reward in the form of a Mini Round Cactus.

I entered Nook's too late and was kicked out for my pains!  Wanted to buy some writing paper but to no aviail.

Saturday:

35, 502 today
Redd in town.  Bought a moving painting from him...

The ONLY thing mentioned today is Willow's Pic.  I put all the other things in the other rooms.  Is that why?

Asked for Comrade K.K.

Sunday:

Fireworks Festival.  Isabella would have taken a design and made it into fireworks if I had asked her before 7.00 p.m. but after 7.00 p.m., she simply gave me special insect glowing antennae headgear and then a Fountain Fireworks.  The surprise of the evening was Redd who had set up a stall and was selling 'Redd's Cookies'.  For 500 Bells, the chance to win a surprise prize.  Most of the time, they were 'duds' in the form of losing tickets.  But I did win a Lovely Phone and a Miniature Car as well as a boxed figurine.  The other prizes were Ultra Hand and Ultra Machine.

Afterwards, I paid off the rest of the project for the Museum 2nd Floor.

Monday:

The Museum 2nd Floor has four Exhibit Rooms I can 'rent' for 10,000 Bells each.  Also a Shop where I bought a Silver Fishing Rod and a Silver Net.  Ironically, I was given a Silver Watering Can today by Leif for having purchased so many plants.

My score this morning was: 39, 606.  I don't know how much of that was due to the Lovely Phone and the Boxed Figurine.

All he talked about today was Willow's Pic.

Finally cuaght a Saddled Bichir at 3.57 a.m.  It's a fish.  First fish caught with the silver fishing rod.

Tuesday:

Stupid Phineas here again.

At the Museum Shop, a display case, I think for 2000 Bells.

Museum Floor : 2000 Bells

Dig Site Floor to celebrate 30 Fossils in the museum. 1600 Bells

This game kills me.  Tabby asked me to find another piece of furniture that would be the same size as his awful sawhorse...  Saw that he liked the Kiddie stuff so I ordered a Kiddie Chair for him and of course, he was over the moon.  Next thing I know, he is giving me the awful Sawhorse, laughing his head off... perhaps he realises how much I hate that sort of thing!

Oak Sil Moth is 315.  HUGE.

Camofrog tells me about Feng Shui in case I don't know.  Yellow to the west for luck.  South for green and east for red!  I don't know too much about it, but it souns pretty complicated!

Scoropion again outside my house.  194.
Caught the Scorpion but missed a Tarantula a few minutes later.  Was bit for my pains.  Caught my first Gar.

Wednesday:

Silver Shovel on sale at the museum shop today:  This item is being sold to celebrate the achievement of 15 fossils in our museum's collection!

Museum Wall: 2000 Bells

Today:  Your round mini cctus!  Wow! Nice placement.  Well done.  Putting a thing in the right place!  Big deal!  I hear things.  Putting green items ot hte south?  Very lucky!  Improves your overall luck, they say.

Stupid KAtrina here today AGAIN.

Celebration for the completion of the renovation of the Museum.  Later I ordered the FairyTale Clock.

Got a Lefty Lucky Cat from Alfonso for giving him the Horned Atlas he wanted.  Had hoped for a portrait.

I paid off the Fairytale Clock and hwat should occur next but Chops telling me that we should have our own Stonehenge....  Well, I'm all in favour of THAT.

Camofrog almost forced me at gunpoint to trade my Exquisite Wall for his horrid Robo-Wall.  I did it, then decided to put it on display at the Resale Shop, even though I hate it when ugly stuff goes round and round the village.

To my surprise, Camofrog entered the shop and immediately said he would buy the Robo-Wall!  Makes one wonder...

Interesting to discover I actually could sell a bowl of Fruit, in other words, 3 or 4 Pears at the Resale Shop.

Another interesting discovery was that of Willow's response when only one item was displayed.  She said, Only one?  Then it's probably a collectible!  And proceeded to buy it.

Friday:

Jungle Floor:  This item is being sold to celebrate the achievement of 50 bugs in our bug collection.: 1600 Bells

The Dig Site Floor is for 15 Fossils.  So there must be more that appear randomly.

Had hoped to find Gulliver today but no show.  Caught my first Jewel Beetle on the Island at noon.  Last night, caught my first Golden Stag on the Island.  THAT one was far more valuable.

40,956 this morning

Musn't forget that Tabby's birthday is on the 13th.

Found a Pink Velvet stool in a tree... one of the few good items I ever shook out of a tree in New Leaf.

Caught my first Horseshoe Crab while diving at Asgard  And my first Abalone!

Got 700 for a conch as a premium item tonight.

Caught two Arapaima and my first Sot-Shslled Turtle tonight.

Saturday, 10 August:  Huzzah!  Timmy announces a special pre-remodeling sale again, shop shut tomorrow.  Well done, that girl!

score today: 42,662

Today Leif announced:  I know this will seem real sudden, but today's the end of the line for my little shop here.  I heard the supermarket next door starts construction tomorrow, so it seemed like pretty good timing!  Anyway, if there's something you need, make sure you buy it today!

Sunday:

Blathers speaks of an old friend named Brewster.

So why not open a cafe here in Asgard?  Visitors would love it.

Too bad I began Stonehenge...

Score today: 42, 504  I lost points taking out the Gallant Statue and using the Mermaid Dresser.  Odd...

Monday:

The Nook Supermaket has become a 'Home Centre' and now sells one K.K. album each day as well as more furniture items.  Leif has taken a room in the Home Cantre and had new items, including a Gerbera, a 'Sweet Olive' Starter and an 'Azalea' Starter.  I bought all of them, planted the two 'starter' plants and placed the Gerbera in my house.

I finally sussed out the Play Coins.  It is a ploy by Nintendo to encourage children (and adults) to WALK!  For every hundred steps taken in reality when the DS is shut but not Powered off, you will earn 1 Play Coin.  maximum is 10 per day.  What this means is that the Mario items CAN be acquired with some ease.  I only want the Master Sword frankly.  Sadly, my ticked today was No. 30 which is a losing ticket.

Charlise offered me her 'prized sceneic painting' for 4708.  The last time I paid an animal that, it was a forgery.

Score: 42806 this morning
100,000 ideal for a house of this size.  Course, you might as well shoot for the stars.  Go for HHA's highest rank at 150,000 points!

Lyle:  Been to the raccoon brothers' shop lately?
Little inside info:  The other day?  Mr. Nook and I?  Met with 'em.  Talked business.  Bang.  Mr. Nook?  Can I guess?  Took 'em under your wing, right?  Bang?  Little apprentices?  Anyway, Mr. Nook.  Kind of stern with the weeones.  Gave 'em a talking to.  Caught ol' Lyle off guard.  Suppose it's not unusual.  Older, wiser businessman.  Firm hand with the younger generation?  Bang.

Tom Nook:  Mr. Lyle... I merely wantedt hos boys to know that when their shop opened we bacame rivals, hm?  And I warned them that, as they continue to grow, other businesses will try to cut in on their action!  I told them they are responsible for their own success, and I'm not going to pull any punches!  That's all!

Lyle then says Nook is kinder than he looks... Nook claims he was out for a stroll in any case, and Lyle says he is blushing!

If I order the castle:  'things like the colour of your hoe's roof or siding will not be changed in the renovation.'  298,000 Bells

Alfonso:  Do you know about perfect fruit?  Every once in a while, there'll be one slipped in with the regular fruit on a tree.  Once you've had one, you'll never be able to forget that flavour.  You should keep your eyes peeled for perfect fruit1

This morning: 44107

Not STandard Style though now.  Is Pack Style.  Very low key.  Setting up big things.  My crew?  Very excited!  Expecting your home to be a breakout hit!

The Painting was not a fake.

Tuesday:

Today the kangaroo sold me a quaint painting for 4,704.  This may be fake.  This one IS a fake!

Wednesday:
Finally found Gulliver at 6.00 a.m. on my beach.

Gulliver:  Cinnamon buns are not currency... not yet anyway

Manekin Pis is what I will receive.  He was bound for Brussels.

A thermohygrometer was for sale at the Museum for 1600 Bells.  I bought it.  Some animal will have joy of it.

No. 11: Midnas Masque.

Fancy Frame: 10,000 Bells at Museum

Sylvia asked me to help her find 'any' furniture.  Gave her a Billiards Table and she gave me the Folk Guitar.  Another animal gave me the Electric Guitar a few nights ago.

Number 6 not a winning number.  He gave me a furniture piece for consolation, stupid butterfly machine.

If you press A while riding to the Island, Kappn will tell you to stop fiddling with the anchor but if you press B, he will say no doubt you have to go to the loo and you will skip the long song!

Redd here today and I bought a nice painting from him.

Friday:

Nice Painting accepted as valid.

47303 today.  I think I need 3000 more for a prize from the HHA.

Discovred that Phineas does not count as the Special Visitor as he and Gulliver were in the village on teh same day this week.

Saharah here today:  Let us travel to your palace.  Swiftly.
I think she will cheat me again.

Ah, she gave me the Rococo floor and the Maze Wall.  Nothing special but I wanted the Rococo Floor badly!

Willow's latest letter could be a double-edged sword.  'I hope you like it as much as the one you gave me.'  Does that meaan she loved her gift or didn't???

Tip for Cherie:  The balloons with presents sail across the sky at times ending in 4.

Dialogues today:

Tabby requested a Puffer Fish.  Damn.  Just got rid of one.

Alfonso says he can't find any fossils.  Is this a hint?

Paid off my loan and ordered a bigger upper floor: 498,000.  The only other option was a basement which I will order ultimately but is not as important now with the four Exhibit Rooms at the Museum.

I see now that the tree stump where the mushrooms grow is different from the others in the pattern on the top of the stump.  All the others have a sort of bullseye pattern.  So this is rare.

Gave Chops a Paulowia and he gave me a stupid Humidifier:  dear gift for a dear friend.

The only thing Chops has now that I want is the hanging clock.  Could it be rococo?

The Scorpions hang out by my house.  I caught one tonight.  You can hear their tails rattling.  The Tranatulas are far more stealthy.  I seem to recall they whined in WW but they appear to be quite silent in this game.

One of the frogs tells me in the middle of the night that there is a Bug-OFf tomorrow.  How many trophies do I really need?  So I stashed the Scorpion in my Fossil Exhibit Room...  a nasty surprise for any visitors.

Caught Oak Silk Moths that were 329. and Emperor Butterflies that were 150.  If I can't win with one, I should be able to win with the other.

Score this morning: 48602

Birdwing Butterfly: 262

Got temporary first place with a Horned Dynastid.  need a bug worth 80 points or more.
Walking Leaf 72.8 so useless.

Peacock Butterfly was 75 points even though larger than the Emperor.  Got a Soft Serve Lamp.  The Emperor got 90.  Got a Snail Clock.
Birdwing Butterfly: 118 Points.  Got a Stag Beetle Chair.

At the museum today:
Rope Partition: 1800 Bells

Shook a Regal Lamp from a tree.
Museum Floor is 2000 Bells

Long Locust: 61.5

Although the Oak Silk Butterfly was bigger, and he professed it beautiful with great lustre and so on, it got 113 points as opposed to the 118 points of the Birdwing Butterfly.  Horned Atlas I could have sold for huge amount of money worth only 77 points.  So now I know...

Third place diving beetle worth 44 points.
Birthday butterfly worth 100 points 2nd place

I won the trophy but no further prizes.

Sunday:

Underwater Floor at the Museum for 50 sea and river species: 1600 Bells

I received a letter from the HRA for 50,000 points and a silver plaque.  I liked the old prize of a miniature house better!

Museum Wall: 2000 Bells.

All four of my Exhibit rooms are filled.  Time to order a basement when I pay off the 498,000 Bells for the house expansion.

Today: 54, 056

Still Pack Style

Regal Sofa, nice placement

I saw a screenshot of the Mermaid Wall.  It's fabulous.  I still need the Bed, the Lamp, the Chair, the Clock and I saw a photo of some sort of display shelves.  The Carpet is interesting but the Wall is better.

Reel the Eel for Gold gives only 6 Medals.

Easy Fossil gives 7.  That is one of the best of all the tours.  I hate doing them and once I obtain all the Mermaid pieces, probably will give them all a miss.

Mantis is worth only 430 Bells.  What a bizarre price.   Nook pays only 344 Bells.

A Tiger Butterfly can be 115. so perhaps I'll make that my early entry next Insect Contest.

Caught a R. Brooke today... hadn't seen one for ages.  They can be 172. so I should be able to win with one of those.  I would imagine that the size is set, so I should store the largest one and sell the others.

For future reference, the 172. is on page 1 of the A section.  There's another one somewhere else in storage...

For a Kaboom Ticket, I got an Ultra Scope
Sparkle: Miniature Car
Crackle : Ultar Hand

Willow tells me Redd is in town.  I had bought from him earlier in fact.  Then she said:  Go.  The siren song of the sale comells you!

This morning: 55, 553

Tuesday:

First time Nook's TIY has a Spotlight product.

I see you found our spotlight product of the day!  Fancy the lovely rococo sofa?

55, 509

Katrina in town.  I get her fortunes now to entice hr to a shop on Main Street.  She told me the secret to averting great misfortune was 'cute bottoms'.

Wednesday:

Score this morning:  56,059

I asked Isabella for advice and she told me about the beach and suggested we take a walk there together.  She then told me she had been too bold but suggested I go and fetch a seashell.  I did and gave her one and she gave me a basket filled with Apples.  Need ORANGES  PEACHES and PERSIMMONS.

I wish I had talked to Isabella earlier.  She now told me to get a fishing rod, catch three different types of fish and then show her my encyclopedia.  She said that if I had difficulty in getting a fishing rod to speak to her!  So a new player can get one from her if they are not in the shop.

I wishI had done this from the start.  I showed her my encyclopedia after catching three more fish and she gave me a Watering Can!  How long I watied for one in my game!!!  And I daresay she will give me a net if I ask for one.  Stupid me!!!

Cannot find schedules of when to find animals at home, so 'I'll do it myself, said the little red hen.'

Charlise, Willow and Chops, Cousteau, Camofrog, Sylvia, all except Alfonso and Tabby are outside at noon.   Alfonso and Tabby inside their houses  Alfonso doesn't count as he has a cold.  Have to go through that four day drill now again..

Finding some one on Main Street does not appear to count.  I found Tabby in Nook's shop.

Willow has the Regal Table.  I have to get it somehow!!!

Chops said Katrina declared that fortune changes daily.  A lucky item can neutralise bad luck on bad luck days and increase it on good.  So the four-leaf clover does that.

The Mermaid Chair appeared today finally so I had to play mini-games endlessly to rack up the Medals to buy it.

Chops is full of good tips today.  Told me how to make hybrids in case I didn't know.  An orange rose may come out if you plant a red rose next to a yellow one... and so on.  In short, the new floer can turn out to be any colour, all deponding on the colour comination you try!

Thursday:

57, 358 this morning.

I ordered an expansion to my back room so I can fit the Mermaid Furniture there better.

Willow wrote me a silly letter and gave me a stupid gift.  Will I ever pry that table from her cold hands?

Camofrog announced he would leave o the 27th.  This time, I didn't try to stop him.

Friday

57, 557  this morning

I know I am losing points by taking out all the Merio stuff but I don't like it in my house.  I'd rather put it in the Mario/Balloon exhibit room in the Museum.  So I can go there if I want to see the man-eating plant or the cannon or the Super Mushroom...  I do have a Toy Room in my house.  Wish I had the Doll but I do have the cradle, the boxed figurine, the dollhouse and the train set as well as miniature car.  They may not belong to the same theme or set but I believe they do.

The Mermaid Room looks so much nicer now with bigger space.  I actually can fit the furniture in there.  Willow visited me yesterday and I visited her.  The outcome was a gift of Mr. Flamingo from her.  I guess I'll never get the Regal Table.  Such a shame.  I need it so badly.  All the Lovely Tables and so on are upsetting my sense of harmony.

I had hoped for Gulliver today but got Saharah instead.  She replaced my beautiful rococo wall and floor with a chain-link fence and some generic carpet.  The Chain link fence actually is one of her special patterns.  Still put back my rococo!

Camofrog:  Sometimes I accidentally buy something that I already own.  Don't you hate that? (In Nook's shop)

Tabby popped into my house unexpectedly.  Wish I could get her portrait.  Wish I could get Camofrog's portrait before he leaves.

Chops said he needed to replace his Modern Lamp.  I gave him a Dog Balloon Lamp and he gave me an oil lamp:

An oil lamp!  A dear gift to my dear friend!  Thanks, Eugenia!

Silly me.  I spoke to Camofrog and he said he was sad to be leaving Asgard in four days.  So what did I do?  Sentimental fool (and I don't even LIKE frogs), I asked him to stay.  So he is here for the duration....  I was looking forward to a new animal, but never mind.

Sylvia sold me a flowry painting.  To my surprise, it was real.

Saturday:  No Spotlight yesterday but today got Captain's Monitor.  Not my sort of thing but the Animals will love it.

Number 33: Pikmin

Sunday:
56664 today.

Turnips at 296 in another town.   Having bought at 91, I made a profit for the first time   It's dull work though and I'd almost rather make the money by cathching insects on the island.

I finally got the Pop-up Book from Sylvia.  She placed it in the Resale shop and I bought it.  Yay!

In another town, the Resale will pay 6000 for TWO perfect cherries.  Better than the stupid turnip strade!

Monday:

Found Gulliver on the beach today and he had come from Australia.

My Fossil Collection is complete finally!  Woot!

Tuesday:

KAtrina in town today and it was my first good fortune.  She saw me in my lovely house, four happy and lucky people surrounding me.  Then she said that happiness through friendship was the situation and my good fortune would come from a Hat doay.

Caught a Coalacanth at night in the rain finally.  So seldom has it rained at night!

Wednesday:

Fortune 23: Power is often fleeting.  Super Star!
58818 today

Thrusday:
Gracie finally made an appearance.  Fun and flashy by the end of the day.
Number 15: yellow Pikmin

Wish I'd get something good like a sword!!!
Sable suddenly is unfriendly.
Pardon me... I can't help you right now.
Ah, it is because I left my gate open and she thinks I want to use that big sewing machine!

Dig Site Wall.  Sold because Fossil collection is complete. 1600 bells

Number 29 Yoshi's Egg

Saturday:

Very upsetting.  Chop sold me a painting for almost 8000 Bells and it is a forgery!!!

I guess I like the iconic look:

Iconic look of jinbei top, imperial pants, poncho

Score today: 60850

I waited until 9.30 to see K.K.  Was going to request K.K. Rally but he wouldn't take requests.  Just told me to sit down... When I did, he said he had a special present for me:  K.K. Birthday

It's interesitng because it's 31 August and my birthday is on 4 September.  I guess it's the Saturday closest to your birthday!

Chops:  How you use it is up to you, but... how about giving it to a special friend as a birthday paresent?

Number 40:  A Virtual Boy
Number 21: Supr Mushroom

2 September:  Labour Day
Isabella hands out picnic baskets.  They can be set on any table.

Vintage Radio is the Spotlight Product today.

Rococo Candlestick in the shop.  Utterly gorgeous!
Violin on sale as well.  I have three string instruments now.

Had to make a withdrawal to buy the stuff!

Number 15 Yellow Pikmin
Number 50: Fi Masque
Never going to get the Sword I want!
Xcore today: 60802

In September, the insect situation changes drastically with Crickets everywhere, no beetles on the tree trunks, and the Common Butterfly returns after two months' absence.  Still see the Peacock Butterfly but no Tarantula or Scorpion...

Got a Picnic Basket for Labour Day from Isabella.  Today something horrible and dramatic occurred when I shook a Perfect Cherry Tree.  I had read that their life was brief but this was unexpected!  It died on the spot, turning into a broken trunk.  Three Perfect CHerries fell from it as usual but one was rotten.  I proceeded to plant another Perfect Cherry as soon as I cleared away the sad little dead trunk.

4 September:

Happy Birthday to me!  It's always eice getting to celebrate with good cake and good friends!

Did not get the Birthday Cake.  Got the Birthday Candles.  Got weird random gifts in the post from Alfonso and others.

Tabby and Chops and Willow at the party.  It was Chops who was at my door at 6.00 a.m. to ask me to accompany him to his house for something vital.  My party was held there.  I had to actually blow out the candles.

63761 today.  None of the merchants wish me a happy birthday but every Neighbour does if I speak to him or her.  Cousteau and Alfonso made reference to the Gifts and Birthday letters they sent.

5 September:

Finally got the Regal Chair in the market.

Number 17: Block
Number 36 ARwing
So many Arwings... despair of ever finding the Master Sword!

Caught my first Pike today.

As far as old items that disappeared during July and August are concerned, the Yellow Butterfly and the Common Butterfly have returned.

72707 this morning.  Received the Gold Plaque in the post.  Probably all due to the Birthday Candles I am displaying from yesterday.  Must make some Bells so I can expand again and improve the score to the max.  I desperately need a Basement as well, so perhaps that would be the way to go first.

Lyle:  Your birthday candles!  Your birthday's in September, right, Ms. Eugenia?  Congratulations!  This item?  Hot.  Real hot.  Gets you a bonus! My crew?  They call this a happy item.  Fitting?  Bang.  Lots of value.  Slice o' life.  Time appropriate.  Bonus points.  For the month of September, you get extra points for this!  Keep it safe!  Bust no chops!

6 September:  Saharah here and she gave me total rubbish for 3000 Bells.  Not only stuff I could buy in the shop but stuff that I HAD.

Fortune 23 Super Star.

Nothing short of miraculous.  I had given up all hope of obtaining an Orange from my Neighbours.  I had sent them all letters with Perfect fruits attached... in vain.  Today, however, I was sorting my storage in my house when there was a knock on the door.  It was Sylvia.  She wanted to visit.  I told her to enter and within a moment or two, she had given me an Orange!  Mirabile dictu!

So far in September, I see many Butterflies, few beetles.  Caught one Miyama Stag on the Island, though.

Agrias Butterfly
Monarch Butterfly
R. Brooke Butterfly
Common Butterfly
Monarch Butterfly
Yellow Butterfly

Caught my first Red Dragonfly today!

A number of my Perfect Cherry Trees died today.  One must pay 400 Bells to dispose of 1 Rotten Cherry.  Kind of Poetic Justice in a way!

Saturday, 7 September:

I'm not certain if the Gracie prizes are random or if they reflect your success in 'nailing' the style as she said.  She asked for Cute today so I put together an outlandish outfit with stuff I had or could find at short notice in the hsops:

Embroidered Dress (my collection)
Pink Glasses (purchased today)
Red Ribbon (my collection)
Black Leggings (my collection)
Polka Dot Rain Boots (purchased today)

She gave me a Sweets Bookcase.

Last time she gave me a Giraffe Tee shirt.  I think it was a lesser reward that time because I didn't do the full accessory thing.  Only the basics.

Score: 73308

I chose to expand the second floor instead of making a basement.  598,000

Number 3: Hero's Clothes...
I so hoped it would be the sword, but no!

Number 44: bad bro's stache.

Sunday:
Paid off my loan because for once, I was able to buy and sell turnips with a small profit.  Now will expand the right room for 498,000 Bells.

Wednesday, 11 September:
Sylvia is into the Modern Furniture at the moment.  She wouldn't sell me her Modern Dresser.

Today: 75, 858

Thursday, 12 September:

I only had 1 Play Coin and had bought a Fortune Cookie and gained some stupid item I had... but fortunately I took the trouble to walk until I had another and I bought the second Fortune Cookie.

Number 35:  It's dangerous to go alone... so take this!

I held my breath, daring not to hope almost, but it WAS the Master Sword.  Woot!

Shooting stars again tonight.   Have to see if guests can get a wish as well!

Friday:

Gracie is back in the square.  She wanted Rock 'n Roll.  I hate not having stuff.  Had to put together a bizarre scheme:  Chequerboard tee, chequerboard skirt, fishnet stockings, eye patch, regent wig and lace-up boots.  She told me that mixing two styles, Orante with Rock, was a bold move but it paid off.  I looked like rock-n roll royalty!  She gave me a Sweets table.

Number 46: She who wears armour today is she who may wear armour tomorrow.  Varia Suit.

Monday:

Gracie is here.  Demands Ornate which I love but do not have ... only a Frock Coat and Rainbow Tights.  She told me my choices were middling, gave me a stupid Pulse Tank but then said she would open her shop on Main Street.  Good enough.

Number 12:  In life as in love, there is always another castle.
Sounded so promising but it was a TOAD HAT!!!

19 September:
Today the T and T Emporium opened its doors.  Gracie is on the top level with most of the Sweets Furniture.  An uglier set I never saw...  She did have a Banana Split Hat and Witch's Hat that were cute.

It is a Festival today.  Harvest Moon Festival.  Reminds me of my childhood!  Isabella gave me a bundle of Wheat to celebrate.  Very pagan, very charming!

Lyle said:  Your tea vase!  Wow!  I mean, really.  Wow.  One set piece?  OK.  But all of 'em?  Well... wow.  A full set.  Yes.  Simply amazing.  You?  Quite the collector.  Quite the decorator.  Me?  Speechless.  Boom

Played the Fossil mini game until I was able to buy the Mermaid Bed and the Mermaid Carpet.    Now all i need is the Mermaid Lamp and Mermaid Wall Clock.  Shudders... that is 12 times winning that fossil game with full Gold Tortimer points!  Cannot imagine it...

When I sak him 'What's new?'

Lyle:  Great place.  Gracie?  Runs the joint?  Great gal.  Me?  Um... went there for work.  Market research.  Bang.  Sure.  Ol' Lye's familiar.  Familiar with fancy shops.  Shoppes even.  Lon time ago.  'Nother life.  'Nother time.

Anyway.  Gracie's store/  Just what I expected.  Renowned brand.  Quality merchandise.  Ol' Lyle's impressed!  Mr. Nook.  If ol' Lyle remembers it right... You and Gracie?  Go way back.  Right?  Sure.  Boom.  Anyway.  Told her I was with Nook of Nook's Homes.  That got her going.  Couldn't stop gabbin'.  Said you two are old pals.  Used to get up to shenanigans.  you never cease to amaze, Mr. Nook.  Bang.

Tom Nook:  ... Heh heh.  That Gracie.  She was such a free spirit.  She's got a real wild streak, that one, hm?  Every one was always worried about whether or not she'd straighten up and make her way in the world...  It's actually quite surprising that she stuck with being a designer lo these many years.  I'm very happy for her!

Lyle:  Well.  Ol' Lyle?  Blown away.  So many secrets.  Unexpected.  Gracie?  A wild child?  Who knew?  Not me!  Hoo!  It sure is something.  Bang.  Learn somethin' new every day.

Nook:  I'm just glad to see an old confidant doing so well for herself!

Three new finds while diving tonight in Asgard seas:
Clam
Sweet Shrimp
Oyster

Caught a Mitten Crab.  They are very small, almost the size of goldfish but appear at night.

Mitten Crab: 2000 Bells

Finally caught the elusive Violin Beetle on a stump on the last day of September.

Other items new to September were Rainbow Trout, Cherry Salmon.

October:

stained Glass finally appeared.  I changed it to Magic and Bird.

9 October:
Finally got the option to work for Brewster.
Willow:  I'll have a coffee with no sugar.
What blend?  Mocha, none, none
Cally: kilimanjaro, a little, one spoon
Camofrog:  Coffee with regular amount
 Blue Mountain, regular, 2
Kapp'n:  Blue Mountain, regular, none
Superb Coffee Bean reward:  Come back and help me sometime

Next day:
Chops:  The best kind of coffee is mocha, no doubt.  That unique sweet yet tart flavour... and that fruity aroma!  It never fails to fascinate me...  I like the music they play here.  It's such a nice song!  It makes me feel like you'll meet some one special, Softasilk!
  Mocha, None, None

Tabby:  How about a cup of coffee!  I'd like a regular amount of milk with that, please!
  Blue Mountain, regular, 2 spoons
Told me I could be the next Brewster... only a whole lot better!
Kind of mean to Brewster, really!

Camofrog: Gimme a coffee!  With the regular amount of milk!
  Blue Mountain, regular, 2 spoons

Charlise:  One coffee, please!  Um... make sure you use lotsa milk!
  Kilimanjaro, Lots, 3 spoons

Slider:  One coffeee, Joe.  And remember, I'm no fan... of sugar's band!
  Blend, none, none
Slider:  That's some fine voodoo ... that you brew!

Gave me more superb coffee beans

Then he gave me a coffee maker.  This is the second time I worked for him.

Cally on a visit to my house:  I'm quite a reader myself.  Right now I'm in the middle of a book called Good Turnip, Rotten Turnip.  It's really good!

12 October:  Fishing Tourney.  No advance notice but I had stashed fish.  Won an Octopus Chair, Flounder Table, Fish Pop Wall, Red Snapper Chair, Jellyfish Lamp... all of them hideous except the Red Snapper Chair which was interesting.  The Jellyfish Lamp hangs on the wall so isn't too bad either.

Brewster said he didn't need help... wonder why?  Late at night??? Or did I miss a day?

The way to win the unique items in the Fishing Tourney:  it seemed for the most part that it alternated, but the other possibility is that only the BIGGEST examples of any specific fish are the ones that rate an unique item.

13 October:  Chop's Birthday.  I went in there at 6.00 a.m. with a Roccoco Sofa wrapped beautifully and he told me it was a surprising gift, even though he LOVES Roccoco!  Bizarre.  Expensive as well!

Pete is at Brewster's at 6.00 a.m. and tells me there isn't any coffee better than the Blend.
Pete:  The blend Brewster makes is especially delicious.  I don't think any single coffee bean can beat the taste of the blend.

Brewster rejected me again!!!
I think it's time of day as I returned at 6.00 and he accepted.

Gracie came in today.

Gracie: Blend, None, None

Brewster gave me superb coffee beans and an expresso maker.

At 5.30 p.m.:

Cally first, then Sylvia, then  Marina came from Asgard for Coffee, then Isabella:

Isabella:  Mocha, a lot, 3 Spoons

Isabella:  I  don't want to drink anything but mocha coffee with plenty of milk and sugar!  It's my favourite!

Thursday, 17 October:

At 7.30 Brewster let me help but only gave me superb coffee beans.

Friday, 18 October:

First Chops:  Mocha, none, none at all.  Then:

Cody: Can I have some coffee?  Please use mocha coffee beans!  Oh!  Please put 3 sugars in it!

Mocha, Lots, 3 spoonfuls

Leonardo:  Can I have some coffee?  Please put just a little bit of milk in it!

Mocha, a little bit, one spoonfull

Finally, Kicks.

Kicks:  I'll have a cup of the usual, please!
Mocha, none, 1 spoon

Kicks:  This is amazing!  You're a cracking barista!  Thanks!

Today he gave me superb coffee beans and a coffee cup.

Satuday, 19 October:

Bad luck, gloom and doom from Katrina.  Worked for Brewster at 5.30 p.m. and he gave me Superb Coffee Beans and a cream and sugar set.

Sunday:

Letter from 'Mom'... she went apple picking and sent an apple, but it was a PERFECT Apple.  I doubt if planted that it will become a Perfect Apple tree, but will try anyway.

Monday:

Nothing but Coffee Beans today.

Tuesday:
Nothing but Superb Coffee Beans again today.

wednesday:

Hold on... You've been working here quite a while.  I think it's time I give this to you.

Got the outfit.

Friday:

Cally said she wanted a change and asked for any type of furniture... gave her a Frog-Woman
pole and she gave me a Peacock Chair!

At my house today:
Willow:  Now, there's just one of you, but I see a two-seater sofa here.  I hope you're not planning on having Sylvia over here. That little so-and-so really hogs a couch!

Willow: Don't you have a large bed?  Good for you!  Perosonally, I prefer to sleep on a queen-sized sheep mattress, Softassilk.

Willow:  Paintings really offer a touch of class.  Your warm painting simply transforms this space!

I really like your old-fashioned furniture.  CLassics never go out of style, Softassilk.

Tabby:  It's so bright outside today that I just gotta twirl.

Me: (distractedly, sotto voce)  Good.  You do that!

9 November:

the rathe dubious Sweets stuff still is being hawked disdainfully by Gracie.  With my new policy of agressively stocking the Retail Shop with good items, I find myself poorer than ever.  I buy Exotic, Rococo, Classic and Regal furniture mainly, then try to log the results.  The Animals appear to be interested in shopping again and come repeatedly sometimes in a single day.

Today Tabby bought an Exotic Bench.  I placed more Exotic Furniture on sale.  She returned a few hours later when Alys was in the shop and tried to purchase a Balloon Dog Lamp of all things, walking past the Exotic Wardrobe without interest.  Although the Dog lamp is the least objectionable of all the Balloon furniture, Alys sought to interest her in the Exotic piece.  In vain... Tabby then tried to buy a Classic Wall.  Dissuaded from that, she continued to ignore the Exotic Wardrobe.  She then asked Alys if she should purchase a Green Table, of all things... Alys was exhausted and allowed the purchase to go through.

Looked for Chops who is the only romantic prospect, rather tragically...  when I found him and spoke to him, he asked me how HE looked in his clothes and rambled on about how clothing always feel strange the first time one wears it.  I pushed him aside rather impatiently I fear... quite shocked, actually, that my character did that!

I would be heartbroken if Cally ever left Asgard.  She is such a little darling, and most like me of all the animals.  She told me today that she was 'saving up to buy an expensive book'.  I really felt for her and gave her the Bells she wanted for some item of clothing I did not want.  It is she who was the inspiration for most of the public works I actually like.

I was delighted when Cally bought the white customised Rococo Bed.  She said, 'There are quite a few things that I like, but it's important to stick to a budget!'  (after buying the MOST expensive item in the shop!)  I seem to recall that she bought ANOTHER Bed this morning.  Wonder how she will fit two large beds in her room.  The other was a Classic Bed I believe, or an Exotic...

I asked for Hypno K.K. and he said, 'Hypno K.K.'s a secret song, but I see you're no square, so I'll play it to you fair.'  Or something of the sort.

Two days after I instated my new policy of marketing good furniture at the Retail Shop, Cally asked me to visit.  I was appalled!  Yes, she had purchased the beautiful custom Rococo bed, but she now had TWO beds with a smaller Alpine Bed in another corner.  No problem... at least both are pretty.  She had a lovely Classic Sofa and custom Exotic Bureau, all from my stock at the shop... not what I would have wanted but at least they are good pieces.  What though did she have in the very centre of her room????  A rusty huge oil barrel!  An Emperor Butterfly was atop the Green Counter she had been adamant about buying.  In another corner, a huge fossil.  A Cuckoo Clock and a computer desk completed her ensemble.  When she asked if I wanted anything, I took a different strategy.  I chose the Oil Barrel.  At least i could get that HORROR out of there!

I began the game with TWO frogs... never having been a fan of them.  Camofrog and Cousteau.  Initially I wished to rid myself of both of them, but a sentimental individual, I became fond of them gradually, despite their ugly appearance.  Imagine, however, my horror when, after visiting Cherie's town for the first time, I returned to find that she had foisted Wart Jr. upon me!  A THIRD frog!  I would not tolerate this if I could do anything to help it.  He had been in Asgard for a fortnight and none of my people have acknowledged his existence.  Halloween was particularly difficult because, of course, he was disguised as Jack, like all my Animals.  How long, O Lord, will you inflict this plague of frogs upon me?

Saharah gave me awful stuff... when I reloaded, couldn't find her anywhere.  Searched for almost half an hour and when I finally found her and she asked to be taken to my palace swiftly, I muttered:  Drag your sorry ass over here...

What is happening to me?  I was brought up to be the epitome of courtesy!  And of course, she made me feel guilty.  After cursing and muttering imprecations towards the lanky camel, she finally spread upon my wall a Starry Sky and upon my floor a Tatami Carpet!  First time in a LONG time that she gave me anything decent.  I can't complain.  I wanted both of these, although I still want the Ancient Floor more than anything.

I wonder how many players tolerate Saharah's bad results of endless Playroom Rugs and Mod Walls submissively and how long it takes for even players with great integrity to say: Enough is Enough!  Then to perform a reload...  When does the breaking point come, the straw that 'breaks the camel's back' as it were, forcing her to stand and deliver something good.  I'd love to do a survey of Animal Crossing players...  It's an interesting psychological question really.

Another question.  How many players, now given an option to ignore him, actually CHOOSE to set the Reset Centre in place?  Cherie did and I must ask her why.  She reloads, so how does she deal with that nonsense???

Interesting that, when Resetti asked why I had not saved, I lied to him and told him, 'I had no choice.'  Didn't want to be 'in his face' as it were, defying him openly, making him feel small.

At Brewster's Cafe, found Willow drinking coffee.

Willow:  Hey, Bastien, do you know the difference between real coffee and a coffee drink?  (without waiting for a reply, she continues now to explain)  Real coffee, like the stuff Brewster serves here, is simply made from roasted and ground coffee beans.  A coffee drink could be anything.  You never know what you're getting.

Brewster now chimes in with:  Yes.  I serve only the finest house-roasted beans harvested from shade-grown -----

Willow (interrupting him):    OK, OK, Brewster.  We get it.

Sylvia:  Digging holes can be a great adventure.  Once I saw a dwarf, Softassilk!

The animals are worse than I.  Cousteau has so much furniture jammed into his room now that there is neither entrance nor exit from wall to wall!  He was jammed behind a Classic Desk.  I could barely see him and most definitely could not reach him, as other furniture impeded my progress.

Willow receives an orange tie-dye shirt as a gift from Sylvia and tells Bastien that she 'really loves the colour'.  She then declares that: Usually, Sylvia can't tell the difference between a wardrobe and a trash can.  But this time she really displayed great taste.  I'm so proud of how that girl's coming along.'

Sylvia:  Oh, an Emperor Butterfly!  The kingpin of the bug underworld!

She gave me a Pineapple Bed... didn't have it in my catalogue yet!

26 November:  Willow's Birthday.  Eugenia gave her a Dollhouse and she acted surprised by that.  Bastien gave her a Regal Bookcase and she asked first if he had read her diary and then said it was a perfect gift.  'I 'll cherish this gift forever and ever.  or at least until my next birthday, Softassilk!'

Stupid Wart Jr. was the only other guest at the party which meant that we had to talk only to the birthday girl!

Alys apparently never had introduced herself so she had to send a gift with a letter.  Isabel now is going there with a choice between REgal Lamp and Quince Bonsai or Wobbelina.

Harvest Festival:

I was entirely unprepared for the Harvest Festival in New Leaf.  It's very different from the old Franklin Quest.  He is the Chef and will ask for ingredients.

My first quest was to find an Oyster, Seaweed and Vinegar.  Chops asked for a Black Bass in return for an ingredient.  He gave me the Vinegar and said:  If you ever find yourself making an oyster salad, try adding lemon as a secret ingredient.

So I will give Franklin: Seaweed, Oyster, Lemon and Vinegar now.  I wonder if the result is preordained or if reloading can change what you receive.

When I reloaded, it was different:  A skinny mushroom, vinegar, Lobster and... for Tom Yum Kung

Stupid Chops gave me a coconut instead of the vinegar I needed with:  Try adding coconut milk to tom yu jung as a secret ingredient.

He gave me a Fruit Basket.  Now he wants and Olive Flounder, a Red Snapper and a Sea Bass...

Special Visitors:

Gulliver can come on Saturday.  If you reload, he will be there for another go but only for one character out of four.
Saharah will give carpets and walls to all four characters.   One can reload.
Obtaining all the fruits is fairly easy.  Animals will visit your house, bearing gifts of exotic fruits.  Your Mum will send Perfect Apple in autumn.

Friday, December:

Cally invited me to her house.  When I opened her Harvest Dresser:  'Whoa, it's like storing magic!'
What does that mean?  She won't let me have the cuckoo clock for some reason.  Not that I really want ANYTHING.

Wednesday, 18 December:

Yesterday, I was told by Isabella that Camofrog was leaving.  I went to his house and everything was packed.  Stupid Wart Jr. with whom I never communicate continues to poonce about my village, but all the characters I really like keep threatening to leave.

Today, I received a letter from Camofrog as follows:

To my amigo Eugenia,
Man can't stay in one place.  He has to get out there and see the world.  I hope you take care of yourself till we meet again.  Accept this pic of me in the meantime.
From Camofrog

In other words, he is one of the Animals who is closest to me!  And he left without much notice.
